Background
The #Einfachbahn team at DB InfraGO AG has set itself the goal of using innovative methods to create fast and pragmatic solutions that have a positive impact on the customer experience and promote change processes.
As part of this initiative, DB InfraGO AG has created an IT application that provides customers with timely and comprehensive information about restrictions due to construction work on the Deutsche Bahn network.
Goal
After a year of active use, DB InfraGO AG has commissioned eoda's data science experts to analyze the data generated in the IT application.
The aim of DB InfraGO AG is to gain a better understanding of the data, review existing assumptions and further improve customer service on the basis of this information.
Solution
How punctually are customers informed? What are the reasons for delayed information? Are there regional differences in notification?
After just a short time, the eoda data scientists were able to answer key questions posed by those responsible at DB InfraGO AG as part of the visual explorative analysis of the data. In addition, eoda succeeded in revealing hidden information and gaining previously unknown insights.
In order to transform this reporting into continuous added value, eoda made the analyses available to the DB InfraGO AG team in the form of intuitive dashboards. eoda developed its own software solution that makes it possible to quickly and efficiently provide high-quality dashboards that provide users with customized information via individual filter options and views. For the successful use of the analytics application in productive operation at DB InfraGO AG, eoda established the data connection to the existing IT solution and adapted the existing rights and role concept of YUNA to the customer's individual requirements. As a result, YUNA users are shown exactly the information they need for their work
